Well, look who finally educated themselves about the market. I have been talking since September about how the towns that make sense to buy in will continue to appreciate at a steady rate. Evaluate which elements of your home market will cause demand to stay strong and make your decisions accordingly. One thing I will make clear is this only applies to Brookline and a small number of similar communities. When you want to live in the Greater Boston region you have many choices. 2005 saw tremendous growth in every community. 2007 and 2008 will bring us growth in those select communities which have the most to offer. Buying decisions will now be made by quality of life factors, not pricing speculation.
